Good news boys and girls i just spotted this post (link below), where placebo has confirmed that the 1.03 patch is closed to being finnished and therefore its release is somewhat imminent. Hopefully most of our troubles will be over soon.

according to that post, he actually did not confirm it. He was just assuming , saying that he believed its close and did not confirm anything.

anyway i think and believe that the patch will be released earliest by end of the month of july and not earlier than that.

Hopefully it fixes some of the big game stoppers, but I think it will take 3 or 4 patches to get things running smoothly in all aspects (mp, campaign, editor).

I see what you saying, but i doubt hed have said it in that way if he wasnt certain about it. if he wasnt certain or hadnt had an update himself, hed probably had said it be ready when its done.

And yeah hope it is released by end of this month, as that would mean it be out this week.

Indeed, you can read whatever you wish in any post and make speculative threads therefore stating official news on nothing that has been said.

ok so here comes the lynch mob to lynch me for making it known to the community that placebo had stated that the patch is closed to being finished and release is somewhat imminent And you guys what me banned for it? grow up!!

and for those of you that read the title and assume that it refers to official release. then you need to read the title in full, as it simply means that its official that patch 1.03 release is somewhat imminent and nothing more, and does not in anyway mean that the release date has been confirmed and made official.

the fact that placebo stated himself that the patch is somewhat imminent makes its official since as i am simply only qouting what he had said in the first place nothing more.

By the way if anyone should be banned then it should be you guys that are happy to flame me by demending i be banned just for alerrting the community to what placebo had said.
