There is a significant number of people with severe problems, the can not run ArmA at all or only with huge problems.

Then there is a impressive number of bugs to be solved.

IMHO we have the right to DEMAND a fix asap and we have the right to ask for a shedule.

Instead of that we get impertinent statements like "it is done when it is done" and threads related to that get closed.

Are we happy with that?

Can you demand something to be conjured up out of thin air? The reason we don't have it is because it doesn't exist, and it requires time to prepare.

Demanding a schedule isn't going to work because from comments that the devs have made in the past, fixing something may break something else. I don't think they can put a definite deadline on it. This is why they release a lot of beta patches, I think.

I'm not crazy about having a buggy game, but really these people are providing something that doesn't exist elsewhere, so I am willing to forgive them for it.

Go ahead & demand away. No-one's taking away your right to demand :)

Meanwhile, it'll be done when it's done :D

Ya... pretty frustrating customer service... :S

I work in CS and the goal is to please the customer, not frustrate them, even if you have to sugar-coat things...

Request yes, it has been done, hope for yes it's been done, demand no, same as you or anyone else does not have an inherent right to use these forums, an inherent right to post and act the way you see fit simply because you bought the game.

I hope that everyone will be able to run the game and run it well as soon as possible, but life really isn't as simple as you or others may think, demanding makes not one jot of difference, other than running the risk of forum access being revoke, maybe short term that's no big thing to you, but most people find long term it's a real bitch.
