I am trying to understand your reasoning here. Your masterplan of idiocy:

1. Whine about new patch again and again

2. Annoy the fuck out of mods and users

3. ?

4. Patch release date is magically announced.

5. Cry your self to sleep once again

Now, I am trying to guess the third step.

Do you think the mods will call up BIS and say "Ok BIS this is Placebo and crew. We got a CODE RED! I REPEAT: CODE RED! You must release the patch NOW! The annoyance levels are critical and we can't take it anymore! HE IS A SOFTWARE DEVELOPER! HE SAYS THERE IS A SCHEDULE! THERE IS ALWAYS A SCHEDULE!"

Maybe you think that the patch is ready and the date is known but the evil BIS chairman sits in his villain armchair, stroking a white cat, slowly sipping a cocktail of baby tears and blood when the counselor comes in the office all sweaty and says: "Sir! I think we must publish a date! This has gone far enough!"

i think BIS should at least let us know that they are really still working on the patch instead of keeping quiet. they don't have to tell us when the patch is ready, but just to assure us that they are working on it.

Why would they not still be working on it? We already know they are working on a patch, hell we've already seen a list of some of the changes. Do you really need more proof than that?

While everyone deserves a holiday, i doubt that the whole BI Staff is on Holiday at the same time.

Also given the fact of more than 500 reported bugs and so many problems where this game is not running in the first place, or just constantly CTD-ing, it would be a very bad timeframe to go into holidays now...... :eek:

What gets me is that the BIS response was put in the TROUBLESHOOTING forum. Not general forum.

BTW A little birdy told me that they were reverting to 1.01 patch as the AI was too good now :)

Anyways as the other threads were answered, so will this one be answered, 1.03 is being worked on, 1.03 will be released as soon as it's ready, no more, no less, no sooner, no later, the end.
