Hi all.

My second mission for ArmA2:

co14 Hills Have Eyes 2

It's not a sequel to first one I made for ArmA but the layout is quite similar so I name it this way.:)

Playable for 5 US spec ops and 9 guerillas

Scenario:

- Stage 1: Secure the Devil's Castle

- Stage 2: Blow up enemy radar mast

Story/background:

After tedious fighting the remaining russian forces have been pocketed at Devil's Castle.They are exhausted but still possess enough firepower to endanger the region.

A joint effort with local guerillas to eliminate the presence of Russian troops in Devil's Castle

Assets:

*Weapons in a civil truck.

*Chopper.

*And our very own satellite.

By request of locals ,destroy also the radar which is causing local soap not showing up in telly.

With:


  • AI-disabled Revive by norrin
    vehicle respawn by Tophe
    UPS by Kronzky
    Ammo crate filler by Monty
    Satellite script by Vienna
    Taskmaster by Shuko

*Most of vehicles respawn except ther Mi-17 and the civilian weapons truck.

Use caution and teamwork, otherwise this is one bloody hard mission.

ps: I've noticed some earlier beta version of this leaked on some server. Please discard that since it's not functional...

@Noraf: No. Just the idea of having to fight your way up when enemy can see you from distance if not causcious. ;)

The castle looks a lot like the one from the original Ghost Recon. I don't remember the mission, but it looks a lot like it.

(Seems I'm not yet used to check the rpt file for errors..)

We played this mission 2v2. Was awesome at night. Plenty of bad guys to engage.

However to win we mined the BMP then repaired it. We were able to drive it unchallenged through the enemy base without them engaging us? Probably a game probably with threat detection (ie driving a vehicle the same 'race' as the enemy = they will not engage)

Yeah, it's a typical ArmA1/2 bug with detection inside enemy vehicles.

btw, when we played it last time I used the same tactic :rolleyes:

I've updated this as final version thanks to all script updates.

Changes:

*Updated UPS

*Updated Revive

*Added outro

*Tasks are now with taskmaster
