wazandy 10 Posted July 1, 2009 A friend of mine's Dad fought as a Paratrooper in the Falklands, and when he saw a night battle set up in AA2, he was actually pretty freaked out by how close it looked (and sounded) to the real thing, especially the 'bouncing tracer' effects. That's a pretty serious recommendation. Now, I've been bagging this thing because I personally can't run it - but I do concede that WHEN you can actually get serious framerates happening it's the closest I think anyone's ever got to real combat. wazandy 10 Posted July 1, 2009 It runs, but i7 systems, twinned with the GTX295 cards aren't optimised for this yet, so framerates are pretty awful. It needs some serious work with the new 2XX cards, that's all. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

My Q6600, 8800GTX gets just under 30 ( 27-35 ) FPS which is barely acceptable but playable and looks passable, so I say again Holy S***! What framerates do you get with sweet bit o' kit, laddie?
