Balgorg 10 Posted June 26, 2009 I have been using the editor to make some of my own missions, in Sahrani and Chernarus. I set up a load of squads, but can only team shift while I am alive. If I happed to die the menue to team shift pops up, but there are no available units to shift too. I have set the units in the editor to 'playable'. I can team shift while alive, but only within my squad, I am unable to shift between squads. Arma 1 wasnt like this, so is this some new restriction? or is it a bug? It ruins the mission making element for me, cos once im dead the mission is over. I would like to carry on as a different player, in a different squad. Any help on this much welcome........ As far as I know in Arma1/2 that's completely normal, you cant switch to what you didn't set in the editor before you started, not a bug just pre planning before executing the mission. I always have all squad leaders set to switchable in anything I do. I cant remember in Arma1 having any option to switch alive or dead if I never set it up in the editor with switchable members.
