wingtip 11 Posted June 20, 2009 (edited) Just installed the 1.02 patch, went to the multiplayer lobby, could select different servers but none of the buttons on the bottom of the screen would work... couldnt join, refresh, or anything at all.... this is a serious bug if this isnt resolved by just a simple reboot of the pc which im about to do...will report shortly. anyone else with this issue? update: still no access to any buttons in the mp screen .. this is a serious bug BI, who did you have test your patch???? It has something to do with the "arma launcher" program i was using... when i launch the game from the original exe the buttons all work... launching with the arma launcher in patch 1.02, the buttons dont work.... UPDATE AGAIN: ok now im gettin upset...after launching with te original exe the buttons worked briefly then stopped working again...what the hell is goin on in this patch? wingtip 11 Posted June 20, 2009 had no errors during patching...went smooth as could be... do they even test this stuff before calling it official...im glad they are working on patching their unfinished product but man, this is a huge bug that renders mp dead..... and thats why most people buy it.... and im not reinstalling the game just to go back to 1.01... so guess we're all screwed till they hot fix it or come out with 1.03.... Didnt know there was another version, the usa version been released? mine pc is running vista enterprise 64 bit, not sure what tumble was running since he is having the same problems man this sucks not being able to play .. Nice to know before i patch, dont want to mess it upp as i to have the German DL. 1.02 made it more or less unplayable for me :( Serious stuttering when loading textures and at least 2-3 FPS drop. Dell XPS 420 Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit Intel Core 2 Duo E6850, 3.0 GHz 3.00 GB RAM NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTX (182.50 drivers) Newest Nvidia drivers didn't help. wingtip 11 Posted June 21, 2009 thats a good point, i can put in a server ip in my arma launcher program as it will save favorite mp servers..but i need the ip's.... cant do that unless you can join them thru the game and ask the admin the ip.... so im still screwed...
