Generating ST on the fly

Hello Gents

Recently and in some missions that I have made I get the following report in the arma.rpt file:

"Generating ST on the fly is very slow"

What does ST stand for and where should I look to fix the problem.

I am still clueless on the ST on the fly thing.

I think I started seeing it when I use the preload camera or preload object command but I am not sure since it does not happen all the time with a pattern. I think I start noticing it on missions that do not have it. No other manifestation in game play or connection that I can notice, only the report on arma.rpt. I have never seen it when the mission is playing on Dedicated server. No report on arma.rpt of the client or the server's

To add: it is caused by p3d which was not binarized. ST coordinates are needed for normal maps. Normally it is Binarize which computes them. With non-binarized model they must be created by the game, which is slow.

So it is a problem of an object or third party map issue?

p3d is a model file. So object/unit/weapon. NOT mission nor island.

Suma: when using you default CA/Buildings I notice a lot of errors in your objects, log file is full of various stuff :) will you take care of that in A2 p3ds?
