rellikki 7 Posted February 13, 2009 Hello, R0adki11. Serial Killer / Rellikki here. I once fixed some issues on your addon some years ago and I can see you've listed my name in the credits too. Wouldn't mind if you changed the alias to my new one though... Anyway, nice job with the addon. It has changed a lot since the last time I played with them. There are some things though that got my attention after a quick test with them: - Neither of the NLI officers' blood textures aren't working + they always have the same face and glasses on. It can be fixed by defining the model(s) in the CfgModels part of your addon's config. - Same goes for the Highland Rangers - The beret texture seems wrongly mapped. I can see you've changed the beret from Jon Doe model pack to HYK's one, so you probably forgot to change the texture too. Notice that they have totally different texture mappings, you should have a look at it and fix it. - The boonie's texture could use some improving. It looks too plain at the moment. That's pretty much everything. Also, would be good if you changed the Reserve guys' tactical chestrig to something else. Seems too modern alongside the conscripts' load carrying webbing. Didn't you have some vehicles in the works too? I was wondering because I couldn't find them in this release and the readme didn't say anything... There was some vehicles on the old pack. R0adki11, Will this new version overwrite you old version so the vehicles from the previous pack will contain the updated crews? There has been a delay in the release due it been my 25th b'day yesterday and im off to London for the weekend. So dont worry about the release its on its way. R0adki11 3949 Posted March 10, 2009 I have one final update to make to my Infantry and then will try not too touch them again, its very hard not too i keep adding new extra units. Thinking of adding paratroopers to the pack, though not sure yet as Nogova is small Nogova Highland Rangers would fulfil that role. Also i have a brand new weapon pack in the works, which i will be releasing aswell to go with my infantry, based off the WW4 resource pack 4. Items will include Aimpoint Fn-Fal, Reflex Fn-Fal and FnMag. Slowly the weapon pack is becoming an 7.62 round weapon pack. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

rellikki 7 Posted March 17, 2009 I just had a quick try with the updated pack. The blood textures finally work, good work on that. However, I noticed some more issues on the infantry and the weapons, which would be good if fixed. The issues are mainly about the distance LODs: - Some of the FN Fals' muzzle flashes are visible from a distance and they are untextured (gray). - All the conscripts' helmets are turned inside out from a distance. It decreases their camouflage ability a little. - Missing equipment (pouches, etc) from a distance. The most noticeable missing objects are the buttpacks and canteens - Those should be added in some of the distance LODs. No need to add everything, as most of the equipment isn't as visible when looking from a distance. - FN Mag's ironsight is all white and it's impossible to aim with it. - NLI Officer's beret looks stretched. However, the NLI Soldier's one looks alright, so replacing the officer's beret with that one will do the trick.
