ahmedjbh 0 Posted November 26, 2008 Hi, I have read in some of the interviews and seen in the videos that Arma 2 will have some type of asset building and management. I understand concept is similar to that which is in the Project reality mod for BF2, can anyone from BIS give us any details on this? For example will the asset management be part of the single player and multiplayer? and what range of things can be built? I for one can't wait for Arma 2. celery 8 Posted November 26, 2008 What's asset management?
ahmedjbh 0 Posted November 26, 2008 As I understand it, in Arma 2 we will be able to build things like command posts, where we can spawn in, and bigger structures that will allow us to create bigger weapons like tanks etc etc all the way up to villages. It would be nice for BIS to give us some idea of what this is all about and if its a multiplayer only concept or what.

NoQuarter 0 Posted November 27, 2008 I'll go out on that limb and suggest that Asset Management = Warfare Mode...which is reportedly being carried over from ArmA, with revisions.
paragraphic l 2 Posted November 27, 2008 Yeah I've read in an interview they where talking about Warfare and the future of open terrain games. In warfare it is possible to build small bases and workshops and some barriers, but no villages or such things, and it will also be a bit like this in ArmA 2... they talked that maybe in the future you will be able to build whole villages on the terrain, but not yet in ArmA 2.
