All servers not working?

I know this is going to sound really ridiculous but myself along with 5 or 6 other people cannot connect to any server currently.  We are all located in different parts of the US with working internet connections (dsl/cable).  We also notice right now that there are very few people online and that it's dropping.  We noticed that during a game a few us lost connection and/or had a ctd and then that was the point when we could no longer connect to a server.  Once the rest of us chose to leave said server we could no longer connect to a server either.  We also all see the pings of each and every server with just a "?" symbol.

If someone could try to connect to a server (no matter whether it is dedicated or self hosted) and let me know what happens then that would be great.  Hope I don't sound too crazy.  We are all at a loss for what could be happening.

i can confirm this problem aswell... very odd

im guessing it could be gamespy having problems there end

i couldnt even join my clans server which is empty at the moment,

Same here. I did notice over the last day or two I have not been able to see the ping for any server, they all show "?".

This is an update to the first post (Panko). I was able to get into our server using the Arma Launcher MP: Direct Join function. Once I got in using that, all of our other members were able to join by clicking. I realize this will only help you if you can get the IP/Port for your server, but it may lead someone else to a temporary fix.

It's possible that once the server is empty again, we will be locked out until someone else direct joins. At the time where I tried this, using "Remote" did not work. Hope this helps.

The same thing with Flashpoint and BF2.

GameSpy seems to be having some rather serious issues.

In the meantime use Game-Monitor to look up servers' IP and port and use those to join directly to the server.

GameSpy issues IMHO , master server goes p00f and various issues happens ...

in meanwhile i suggest to use Game Server listing software like

i have been connecting to servers after starting the game with this tool but i have noticed all the servers have a question mark ping, but i can still connect. using remote IP you can get the ping to show also...

I used to use armaspy but the thread says in the last post that it is a virus or hacker tool. Can anyone confirm that its not safe to use for getting a list of servers when the gamespy master is down??? Or was it a false positive.??? I still dont get a list. And it seems like a good program for doing this.

You can sort just like you would in gamespy.  If you need an Ip address to join, just click on the servers name
