Which 3d software it's seemed with O2?

Recommended Posts

Hi.

I'm looking for a 3d software seemed with O2, because I like the easy way to do thing on O2. I tried 3ds max and Blender but that software confuse me with many buttons and many options than I've never use.

So, On what 3d software it's based O2?

I like O2 but it doesn't export to .3ds and I can't edit a cilinder with O2 it's a little bored..just deleting faces and creating new faces....and I think with 3ds max you just select the cilinder and redefine how many detailed you want it.

www.luxology.com - one of (if not the) best usabilty oriented 3D apps around... Solidworks have even picked it up as the backend for next years release I believe...

Modo is very good 3d modeling software including anything you need for model editing which is then converted into ArmA.

lol count me in biggrin_o.gif

modo is pretty fast.

3ds Max and Maya do well too, but theyre too complicated for beginners (as you said... too many buttons, too confusing).

however if youd spend some time in it, you can use just as fast as modo.

personally i use both, as i like or as i need.

buti prefer modo for plain modelling, since its faster and has an a lot better inbuild render, which is even faster than the max or maya renderer.

so in terms of modelling.

use what serves you most.

milkshape reminds me of O2 to some degree, but the last time I touched it was Milkshape 5 (I think) so I have no idea where's its headed since then.

If you just want a modeler, Silo is cheap and very powerful. Try out the demo.

Quote[/b] ]Faster you say? Using what methods?

the method doesnt matter, as it changes from model to model.

in general i have the feeling i can produce something in modo faster than in max.
