Kind of disappointed with a 4870x2

bummer USSRsniper,  Is this a new install, or did you have other drivers/cards?   You can delete your .cfgs( Arma, playername ) and delete the .rpt, and .dmp's in your C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Application Data\ArmA.

I had older drivers, and it worked fine. Does the new catalyst work for you? 8.9. But i think its good that ArmA doesn't work Now i got so much time for University....

I tried 8.9's and got bsod when exiting arma.

New ATI driver works better then previous. Try a clean uninstall/install - some additional tools might help.
