Jackal326 1181 Posted May 19, 2008 Seems as though the head still uses the default US Soldier RVMAT, this causes the straps from the helmet to cast a shadow on the face texture, but in the case of this soldier there is no helmet/straps but there is still the shadow. To fix it just select the head and change the RVMAT from 'bimodels\bisoldier\data\us_hhl.rvmat' to something such as 'ca\characters\data\civil_1_tshirt_hhl.rvmat'. This still has the correct normal/specular mapping for the face texture, but doesn't have any form of shadows cast by any headgear. If you're really advanced you could always create a custom one for the cap, but in my experience if you've got the cap modelled in the shadow lod it isn't required.
