It feels like im in the australia now Hehe if there where kangaroo's and snakes it would have been top notch but I think animals are difficult to animate and such :P Will you have any custom mountains in australia red style? I've got an example of the grass as slightly greener, earth darker and less saturated and tree trunks white. If you could change those it would be more convincingly Australian. [/img] I do the the mask/sat and textures for the AusMod and to let you know, most of the textures (including the sat) are still in alpha stages. I've just made another version of the sat now and have tweaked a few things, including the desert texture (and matching ground texture you mentioned). We all agreed that it was too 'pink' but Aussies got an itchy screenshot finger and couldn't resist posting them. The desert has a blend of textures so it gradually gets more orange/red the deeper you go. We're currently playing around with those and trying to get the transition as smooth as possible. Be nice to have some large managums amd tree ferns for temperate rainforests Anyway, havn't seen much of this one on the island yet, nudge, nudge, hint, hint. Auss 208 Posted June 30, 2009 (edited) We were planning on an Alpha release of the island on July 10th but the release of ArmA2 really took us by suprise as we weren't expecting it so soon. We also experienced major issues with 3rd party addons we were using. We found it very difficult to find good high quality bug free addons. This caused huge problems and delayed the project as we had to fix them. In the end it was decided to not release the island for ArmA1. We are eagerly awaiting the release of the ArmA2 Island tools so we can port the island across and then use the higher quality ArmA2 addons. The project has hundreds of hours spent on it and we wont be giving up, but no further work will be done until the new Visitor3 is released. Thanks to all that have followed the project and helped us, reading all your posts of support and encouragement really helped us. We will be back!!
