manzilla 2 Posted November 22, 2007 Oh god Rebus! I can't take it anymore. Those pictures are absolutely amazing. I'm dying to try to make an SP mission with them. Or a replacement file with weapons loadout. It will take me a bit though since I just figured it out.

manzilla 2 Posted November 22, 2007 What else needs to be done on them? Excuse me for asking. I don't like the "ETA release date" question. I'm only curious if that picture is a fairly finished product because I can't imagine them looking any better then they already do, it seems impossible. roberthammer 582 Posted November 22, 2007 [b said: Quote[/b] ]what's the difference betweenM249 Mk1 & Mk2? M249 MK1 M249 Mk2 / SAW
manzilla 2 Posted November 22, 2007 Honestly, I've never heard of an Mk1/Mk2, except for airsoft variants. I've heard of the M249E1/E2/..../(or M249E1, and on and on and on). And the Mk46 Mod0 and newer Mk48 7.
Dr.Rebus 0 Posted November 22, 2007 Yes, there are various versions! The MK1 is the first version of M249.
manzilla 2 Posted November 22, 2007 But isn't the versions designated like M249E1 for the first version, m249E2 for 2nd, etc. and not m249 mk1, m249 mk2, etc. I know it's semantics, I just never recall seeing mk1, mk2, etc used to distinguish the different variations. Not a big deal, just curious. Edit: I've been googlin' m249 mk1 and mk2 but I only get links to airsoft guns.
