How crazy are you?

Recommended Posts

I'm a but curious on how other gamers have been affected by OPFP. For myself, I can confess that there was a time when i played the game in the morning before work. Then I went home at the lunchbreak to play some more. When the working day was over I ran home to do you-know-what.

Looking forward to see other confessions from the community. And, one more thing; for me it took 6 month to get slightly bored with OPFP (I still love it, but anyway...) Ghost Recon took 2 weeks, Medal of Honor Allied Assault got pretty stale just after a couple of days...

When I start school late, like Fridays (1030 am), I sometimes play alittle OFP. Sometimes I've been home at lunchbreaks, eating a sandwich while playing OFP. And when I get home... OFP time!

I bought OFP in August 2001 and I'm not bored yet. Great game! Great job by BIS smile.gif

Hmmmmmmmmm it does get way beyond that tounge.gif

but hey.. uh lemme see.

one day, I had to go to school because I had to deliver something really important (a project). I knew the girls i worked together with on the project wouldnt be too happy about it if i didnt came, but h3ll, i would go.... I thought...

I had to go at 11h00, but I woke at 7wow.gif0 and played OFP from that time and completely forgot the time tounge.gif then it was 10:30 or something, I quickly showered and put some gel in my hair, brushed my tooth, got ready for everything, I did the project in my schoolbag, and I was about to leave the door but then........ it didnt happen. I wanted to get back into the action.

Still remember calling my projectmembers/school with : "*cough* hello *POWPOWPOWWDANGADANG* *aah my head* hey, i feel sick..*####, 3 IS DOWN* uhhhh *cough* gotta go *BANG* bye!"

OFP makes me lazy like sh!t~!

The feeling when u skip school becuz of a game.. Sjeeshhh smile.gif OFP is ev!l

I only play OFP when I happen to get a good idea and I try to implement it in the editor. I'm still working on a jump ramp and am looking for a well placed hill for my jeep jumps I like to do.

I preordered OFP at EB and it was suppose to come out in NZ on 30th of June (Monday) and on Saturday I was bored as #### and decide to cruise into EB just check if its in yet

It was!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was standing there for like 10 minutes with my heart pounding faster than after 30 km run. After I realised that I was actually wasting valuable time I could spend playing I grabbed the game and ran to my car

I was so excited that when I was leaving the parking I scratched couple of cars and on my way home I was doing like 130 kph in a 50 zone. I was actually afraid that I was going to die before I get a chance to play it. But I was pretty lucky mozzafuka and got home without any accidents.

By Monday I finished the campaign tounge.gif

Bah, thats nothing...

I was ADDICTED to the friggin demo. How many of u can claim you stayed home from school to play the DEMO of a game???

Ahh, that was the good ol days: flying blackhawks around Lolisse all day because the rest of Malden was just perfectly flat, single-textured land lol. Heck, I dont even think it was called Malden back then!

It was really surprising how many missions were created on just that small patch of land lol.

aye,, same here... and before the demo was out, I was addicted to the pictures and the smal video clips, and before that,, I was addicted to the info that was out.

BUT!!!

I must say,, I've never played a better demo than the original OFP demo. OMG, that was so sweet. All the editing for it (writing full mission in notepad, ONLY) etc.

Memories sad.gif

i played the original demo and thot wow never seen a game like this, so bought it when it was first released completed it by playing 14 hours a day, was mission reviewing for the opflash site so goto play some fantastic missions to keep game alive, then redhammer came out played and completed that and now my son has it installed on his pc for the time being. ive not played it for a couple of months now but waiting patiently for next campaign campaigns are fantastic.

I am following this game from the first sign it was in development. Had the demo the first hour it was released, got the game the second it came out. Played it every second i could, installed it at work ( didnt get ANY work done ) Bought Red hammer as soon as it came out, checked this forum every second i was online. But now ... i don t play as much as i used to .... the reason .... I WANT BIIIIIG internetgames, two big teams, choppers, trucks, etc etc, but all i find is CTF and deathmatch mad.gif no games that last for hours, where i can take my blackhawk, get the guyz in, give close airsupport and get them the #### out when things get hot, only bangbang, you re death, another respawn ... etc.

Also finding a good squad is hopeless !!!! Either you get in and don t hear from them ever or you just get no answer when asking to join. So i m a little dissapointed on that part. But still it s the best game is ever saw and the best supported game ever !! And i should know, i ve been addicted to games since the commodore 64, ####, i even had a ZX81 .... brrrrrrr ant attack hahaha brings back memories.

Wow, that had to be at least 7 months ago i last posted here ( maybe longer confused.gif )
