Op4 BuhBye 0 Posted May 18, 2007 All right I got it figured out. The hotfix put an exe in the beta folder. I made a shortcut to that exe. It doesn't work. It give the error above. In the shortcut properties I used "C:\Program Files\ArmA\beta\arma.exe" -nosplash -mod=beta and it works. Why put an exe in a patch that doesn't work? TLC-Smokey 0 Posted May 18, 2007 The beta is running as a mod as not to mess with your version that is working. The shortcut needs the mod reference so it knows to look in the right folder when starting the game. That way our 1.06 or 1.05 versions don't get screwed up.
