Why is it impossible to find this game in Canada?

But it's impossible to find a copy anywhere. Why?

Same here, im living in Montreal and I think the game wasn't released for the province of Quebec. I did 5 differents stores (2x Future shop, Best Buy, Eb Games, Walmart...) and nobody heard about it.

Just buy the regular Atari European DVD version from anywhere, then have someone send you the A-10 and patch to 1.05...whalla...almost Combat Operations

I was able to pick up a copy in EB in Toronto.

I bought mine last week in a small town EB in the BC interior, so you shouldn't have any problem finding it.

Make sure you ask for ArmA, not Armed Assault. They couldn't find it otherwise.

several of my friends in both USA and Canada got problems to find the game on stores ...

it takes time and luck to find store with it ...

usually they get small number of copies and they gone very soon ...

I checked all the EB's here in Calgary and only one had the game (1 copy). I was going to get a few for my brother and some friends but no luck. I already have the CZ release and the UK DVD which I bought as an import from a local games shop so I'm not left out but...

The lack of availability (and version splits and no NA servers etc)

isn't helping me sell this fantastic game to my vidiot friends.

If you are up for a drive, There are 2 copies at Best Buy in Concord, New Hampshire.

I got my copy from a "tiny" little retailer here in British Columbia. She get's her stock from a distributor in Vancouver. "Someone" in Vancouver has it. Keep in mind, my copy is not Combat Operations. It is ARMA: Armed Assault ver.4 European DVD. Once you get past the initial "OMFG It's not Combat Operations" and realize it's not really different, and you get the other stuff later, it's aight

Bad idea, you do not want the DL version. You want a Hardcopy where you can Install and Uninstall as many times as you want :P

Got mine at EB in Clareview, Edmonton on May 8. Still in back of store - hadn't even shelved it. Got one of only two copies they had. My receipt shows:

Maybe this will help you locate it at your local EB store - they have reportedly been receiving more shipments of the game.

Also, Atari US was making arrangements for Canadians to be able to buy the DVD version from Atari's online store. It still doesn't seem to be available but there is a thread on the Atari ArmA board about it here:
