Most of the "PMC Tactical" guys don't know what a real PMC is. Its a Private Military Company. Oh, and also, he asked for it to require no addons. Rugen requires two or three packs. -ZG-BUZZARD 0 Posted May 14, 2007 IMHO some of the best no-addons islands are the islands from the Bloody Days Mod, Saint David and Lorient, although you might also fashion taking a look at their Avignon islands. None of them require any addons whatsoever except OFP Resistance. Of OFP CWC vintage I still haven't found anything quite like Phaeden's Island and somehow I can't help but like Ackropolis and Kinmen (although this last one has some small addons that are included in the download) . And my latest island discovery was the island of Jelhalabad - though I don't know where a working download link for it could exist, but since it's small, I could upload it for you if you'd like. Besides Kinmen, none of the other islands I mentioned need any other addons. And last but not least, if you don't mind going through some trouble, there is an island based on satellite imagery of a farm in the Middle East, it really surprised me when I first saw it... Strangely, CAT Afghanistan is such a HUGE download because it comes with SO MANY addons that I've actually never installed it... I'd first go to BAS Tonal rather than jump head-on into CAT Afghanistan - and I was amazed at how much I felt the Jelhalabad to provide a nice Afghanistan feeling, in spite of having no extra addons... I prefer the first release of the PMC Euro map, it's huge, central-european style, good for tank and air battles, and only requires a few addons (some Agent Smith stuff and Mapfact stuff IIRC)... But for me my favourite island of all, the one I most use to fool around, is Zwadar's Desert Everon, which looks great and is the fastest Everon you can play on - no too noticeable lag!
