If I try and run 1.05 release I get a black screen, if I run the latest 1.07 beta I get the same graphics corruption as the scrren shot in Darkyyy's post. Spectre-63 0 Posted June 3, 2007 Not sure that it'd be your Catalyst drivers causing this...I ran just fine in Vista Ultimate 32 with both the Catalyst 7.4's and 7.5's

Darkyyy 0 Posted June 4, 2007 how does it run with out a video driver?
ombas 0 Posted June 4, 2007 how does it run with out a video driver? windows uses a stock vid driver. i didn't try the ms radeon driver you can dl through winupdate - those used to be worse than cat's. i don't know if that would work better than the stock driver for arma or not. Darkyyy 0 Posted June 4, 2007 so this is a video driver problem or a vista 64 problem or a arma problem i would like to know who to bitch to. and uninstalling all my video drivers sounds kinda lame might do it for fun but there has to be a driver fix some where? Royceybaby 0 Posted June 4, 2007 I can near as dammit confirm this as an Catalyst/Vista64 driver bug. My friend runs Vista64 with a Nvidia 7600GT and it works "fine" I have tried Catalyst/Vista32 and Catalyst/XP64 and both of those do not have the problem. I have yet to try the new 7.5 drivers as I got fed up with being unable to play Arma under Vista64 and reloaded XP64. Royce
SWAT_BigBear 0 Posted June 4, 2007 Darkyyy, What is your screen refresh rate set at for your desktop? You may want to try lowering it to 60 Hertz, and test ArmA.

Your picture isn't working ^^ I dont think anyone knows whats wrong. but i think its best to keep these kinds of threads on the front page, the more viewers, the more likely someone will give us a fix. ATI released new drivers today, 7.6, check them out if you have a ATI GPU.
