You know when you have played too much ArmA

You know when you have played too much ArmA when your girlfrien/boyfriend gives you ultimatum: "Its me or that stupid game" ...and you really consider about the game.
  2. I thought Blazin wanted great fireball efects and other magic tricks to this game
  3. Shooting at the fuel tank does NOT make it explode. Watch less Crappywood movies.
  4. Forum is basicly for members only 'cause lots of private material and its too much work to setup whole place for non-member membership... (enough complicated?) Area "Yleiset" and forum "Keskustelu" is open for quests, so you are most welcome to write and participate there. When we got our campaing fully rolling out, im going to modify past missions that quests can come to our server and play those with us. Then those quests can get a small glipse of what's going on in the main campaing. See you soon!
  5. So, Jääkäripataljoona 3 is a clan like no other. We simulate military's procedures as accurately as Arma supports. All thing starting from Division's hierarchy and historical size of JP3's units are included. Few modifications were essential to do, like dropping number of personnel from 845 to 154. And that's just JP3. Division has also JP2, JP4 and JP5 wich all are included in our campaing. Not to forget rest of the units in Armored Division. How that practically works? We play our own fully dynamic campaign wich evolves as the situation in the battlefield changes. Its story driven and supports every possible role in the army. Cost is high hardware requirements when there are 300 soldiers in the frontline at the same time and double amount of enemy troops assaulting our positions. We offer wide range of different trainings and courses to complete to adapt our battalion's way to handle things. Basics start from radio and co-operating trainings, weapon training and different types of leadership courses. Weapon training might sound stupid ( "Everyone knows how to fire a rifle" ) but when it comes to long range rifle training where easy distances starts from 1000 meters, its not that easy anymore. Also quick firing to 150m with basic rifle while standing up its not that easy too. Not everyone is getting right to the action in the front line. Basically everyone new recruit starts from support or communications and advance from there to roles where things really heat up. Players are not immortal. If you die, then you die and you STAY dead. You cant play with that soldier anymore and it's removed from battalion's roster. Every player can though create almost infinite amount of profiles for soldiers players wants to play with. Example, Sergeant Antikainen is leader of 1st Recon Group. He also has profile for 3rd men in the same group. If Sergeant dies, then Antikainen can take control of the 3rd man in the same group. Or if Antikainen wishes, he can create the profile to any unit in JP3 where his training allows to. I was hoping to find some finnish players from here, but surely english players are free to join too, but... its not recomended because all interaction with each other is done by finnish language. :P Please feel free to visit our forums. http://z3.invisionfree.com/JP3/index.php

Installed patch succesfully, then started Arma and.... nothing but black until menu screen (Menu screenshot below). I uninstalled Arma twice. Downloaded patch from different mirror and no change. Splash's not showing at all and menu screen is still deformed.
