Sc@tterbrain 0 Posted April 29, 2007 ahhhh...mmmm...since when did a big hunk of play-dough become a weapon. Â I got nuthin.... Not even the crayon writing on the top helps to ring a bell... Some kind of collar, scale body armor er something
sputnik monroe 102 Posted April 29, 2007 Dragon Skin?
Sc@tterbrain 0 Posted April 29, 2007 It is Dragon Skin. Â I should have just said it in my first post, but it seemed too obvious. Â Then I remembered seeing that image somewhere. Â The image is taken from the show Futureweapons on the Discovery Channel. The image shows the armor durring the production process and can be seen about 2 mins and 45 seconds into this video. Dragon Skin as seen on Future Weapons By the time I actually found the vid Sputnik had beat me to the punch. Â Your turn Monroe. Â
Guest RKSL-Rock Posted April 29, 2007 That's BAe's P.110, their initial submission for the ECF (European Combat Fighter) It is the P.110 but its wasnt the ECF Entrant. Its was the ACA (Agile Combat Aircraft) demonstrator that BAe put forward to compete with the ECF concept. It was significant because it was the catalyst for the use of stress loading all composite fuselage skin manufacture.
sputnik monroe 102 Posted April 29, 2007 So does that mean I pick the next photo? *Edit* It was easy for me as I watched that episode of future weapons this morning.

-ZG-BUZZARD 0 Posted April 29, 2007 Kinda looks like an MBT-70. though the turret seems too small...
sputnik monroe 102 Posted April 29, 2007 I know it's the G.I. Joe MOBAT Â Â Sheesh, 90MM or 130MM, clearly Larry Hama and Hasbro couldn't come to a consensus.
Sc@tterbrain 0 Posted April 30, 2007 LOL thats great Sputnik! I actually had that thing, though it rearely had batteries in it. You should have saved that one and used an edited version of the spec's sheet. Would have had us looking all over for the mystery tank
Ironsight 1 Posted April 30, 2007 Looks British, it's a fairly old pic and it has a MAG on top of it. Chieftain 900?
da12thMonkey 1943 Posted April 30, 2007 Not British, not even NATO. Pic's probably not as old as it looks either.
-ZG-BUZZARD 0 Posted April 30, 2007 LOL, whoever made that tank took the specs from the toy!!! Incredible!!! I bet it even shoots lasers and has a speaker screaming "COBRAAAAAAA!!" at max loudness!!! Hmmmm, could the tank in the picture be the same
ran 0 Posted April 30, 2007 I'd go for something south american, yet the hull reminded me of the south korean K1. And the gun looks akin to what could be mounted on french AMX10RC and ERC90, it (the gun) definitely has a french look .

da12thMonkey 1943 Posted May 1, 2007 Bernardini MB-3 Tamoyo ? Â That's it mate. Good work. It was an indigenous tank designed by Brazil in the early-to-mid 80s. Only made it to the prototype stage.
