bonko the sane 2 Posted March 16, 2007 hello, this is my Arma install: modfolders work if i type <table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">"E:\Jogos\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA\arma.exe" -mod=@Custom;FDF_Sounds ] in the ArmA shortcut, but if i use -nosplash or any other command in the target line the mod folder dont appear. in fact, even using Kegetys ArmA launcher 1.1 the above modfolders wont appear ingame with -nosplash option ticked on or off, and before you ask, yes, paths are set correctly. more people have had this ocurrence, check Mapfact Air thread in ArmA\Addons Complete. Running E6600 Duo\BFG8800GTX\2Gb RAM@800\MSI 975X PlatinumPowerUpEdition\ on XP SP2, latest bios, drivers etc. 505 Arma patched to 1.05 Any suggestions? Mr_Tea 0 Posted March 16, 2007 I use mod folders and the -nosplash parameter without problems. All three mod folders, that i have until now, are working as they should. Edit. I use the Mapfact Air stuff too.
killaalf 0 Posted March 16, 2007 I use mod folders and the -nosplash parameter without problems. All three mod folders, that i have until now, are working as they should. I second that, I only have the FDF sounds but "-nosplash -maxmem=1024 -mod=FDF_Sounds" works flawlessly here.
NorthStorm 0 Posted March 16, 2007 I have the same problem here. I have Map Air FDF Sounds and, i can`t see any of the Apache in the game and no sound change too. Can anyone be kind and take us by the hand to show us how to do it please...

opteryx 1562 Posted June 11, 2007 HELP! Okay.. I've put all my addons in a folder called @addons in my D:\Spill\ArmA directory, and I've added this: D:\Spill\ArmA\arma.exe nosplash -mod=FDF_Sounds;@addons line in my start up parameter, however none of the addons are working, can someone help me here? NOTE: the FDF mod works.
messiahua 0 Posted June 11, 2007 Strange. I've a problem too. I'm using modified bin.pbo with edited stringtable.csv (removed STR_KILLED_BY etc string) and ArmA just don't read this bin.pbo! I'm testing in-game and I still see this strings.
opteryx 1562 Posted June 11, 2007 Aww come on, anyone?! I really want to play ArmA today...

NOTE: the FDF mod works. Your @addons folder; are the addon .pbo files you downloaded located in a folder called 'addons' inside this folder i.e: D:\Spill\Arma\@addons\addons\addon_name.pbo or are they just placed in D:\Spill\Arma\@addons\addon_name.pbo They need to be located in a modfolder like the former rather than the latter. Doh! I get how it works now. "@addons" is like a mod that needs it's own addon folder Thank you VERY much for helping!
raedor 8 Posted June 11, 2007 @Opteryx: Note that nosplash needs a leading "-"... @Messiah2: Maybe ArmA takes strings from languages.pbo? Dunno...
opteryx 1562 Posted June 11, 2007 Oh thanks for the heads up, didn't notice that, had deleted my old ArmA short cut so I just copy pasted from an OFP one, guess I was a bit sloppy there
M.Andersson(SWE) 4 Posted June 12, 2007 Heres what i have done: I didnt use the @ in the name And i use the ; to separate the folders. Looks like this now: "C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA\arma.exe" -nosplash -maxmem=1024 -mod=Mapfact;EvensA10;voice_quiet;ace_everon;Rc_Be32;RHS_Hind;FDF_Sounds;DVD;PMC_aec Works like a charm
