.kju 3244 Posted March 1, 2007 Dear Wargames MOD community, we like to announce that all development on the WGL mod for OFP has seized. We are sorry to report that there will be no WGL mod in ArmA by the former WGL5 mod team. Yet the founding team of the WGL mod, AngusHeaf, Pheaden and others, are said to work on a spiritual successor of WGL with a different name for Armed Assault. We ask you to remain patient and not to query them for any information. They will make an announcement on this topic when they feel like it. So again this news is meant to give you an update and we like to use this as an opportunity to say thank you to everyone involved! Without the initial huge effort of the founding team, AngusHeaf, Phaeden and Tactician, there wouldn't have been a WGL mod altogether. With WGL5 we did merely polish and enhance the tremendous base, we were given by them - so foremost we'd like to pay tribute to their exceptional work! Next we want to highlight the important role of the Zeus community, the ShackTactical squad and the Border Conflict League - their quality feedback, active support and long time use gave us the motivation to move and get things done! Of course there have been many other groups and people who have actively supported the WGL mod or help us in one or another way. The following list is an alphabetical list of contributers. Sorry to anyone i forgot, however this is just a list - we and you know about what you have contributed and we are very grateful for all the support we got from all the various people! BlackScorpion 0 Posted March 2, 2007 Thank you for what you've done... although I've really gotten into WGL only recently (first I downloaded was v4, but it didn't quite work after some time so...), but then got "invited" into Zeus nights... some of the best time I've had. Both due to the people and what got us playing. A big thanks goes to WGL, naturally, THE mod if you want a fairly comprehensive but playable mod... WGL, besides FDF, will prolly never leave my HD. And last, but not least, naturally thank you (and the rest of the team) for giving us something like this. The best for you, Q, take care and try not to get too much disorders for the lack of OFP.
