horrgakx 1 Posted February 26, 2007 I'm thinking of tutorials to show the best way to manage your squads and direct them around, etc. For example (demo version) I took gunner position in a HumVee and directed my driver to a map square. He took the long way round (all via road) bit the view was nice so I didn't mind However when we came to a tank in the middle of the road he stopped and kinda shuffled back and forward for a bit before the tank blew us to bits. Scillion 0 Posted February 26, 2007 The AI will try to use roads. You must manage them closer. 1. Make much smaller destinations. 2. Choose his F# (like F2 to pick him) and point where you want him to go. If your in gunner position you can hit your Keypad enter then choose F2, then pick a spot that you can see with the pointer. I would use a combination I think. I would direct him to a place where I can then give him a longer command once I know which way he will go. As far as a tutorial I haven't seen one. There are a lot of people who would help you I'm sure. If you have any questions just PM the people here who answer questions alot.
