KaRRiLLioN 0 Posted January 11, 2007 What kind of power supply do you have, i.e. how many watts and brand name? An 8800GTX is a power-hungry beast, not to mention a P4 isn't the most economic cpu either.
XeLSiS 0 Posted January 11, 2007 lol, im good... i got a 580, they're running fine. CPU & Video Temps are 77F for Video and about 70 CPU.. But I was aware that the PSU would have to be over 500 easy so I decided to get a 580 for future expansion. Ya the P4 isnt economic but I got it for $50 lol and to keep it cooler i have 2x 250mm Intake Fans plus the other 4 incorporated fans with Video, CPU, PSU. Just have to buy and outtake fan -- But ya so the error... any fixes? lol

sniperandy 0 Posted January 13, 2007 In order to see your "arma.rpt" you must make sure that "hidden files" are displayed in your win explorer. Once you set hidden files to be displayed go to start-->search and run a search for "arma.*" on your computer. It will display your arma.rpt file. I'll have a look at your dxdiag.txt Edit: Not Found The requested URL /DxDiag.txt was not found on this server.
desertfox 2 Posted January 13, 2007 Chipset drivers ... ?
SWAT_BigBear 0 Posted January 13, 2007 I wish his link worked...... The 8800GTX and manufactures cd's may have put DX 10 files on your pc if you used them. If you do not have Vista, it may be an issue. Confirm your DirectX is 9.0c Also confirm that card is nice and snug to the motherboard.
XeLSiS 0 Posted January 14, 2007 SniperAndy: Ok the link works now, sorry, uploaded to wrong folder lol DesertFox: Chipset Drivers Included on the CD were as follows - Nvidia nForce 4 SLI Intel Edition Series Motherboard Utilities v1.2 - Chipsets / Serial ATA II / RAID Network / Audio Drivers - DirectX for Winows 9X/Me/2000/XP - And of course the v1.2 revised BIOS Motherboard EDIT: I also know its DX9 as i installed the DirectX 9.0c December Update with no problem. SWAT_BigBear: The motherbaord is SLI so i can put do in there, but i dont have the SLI Chip in there so its only running the one and with the correct chip, and looking with a high little powered cracklighter flashlight, as the side of the panel is a pain to put back in, the card looks snug in there.. I have the top screwed too..
