csj 0 Posted October 27, 2006 OH-6A was designed for use as a military scout during the Vietnam war to meet the U.S. Army's need for an extremely maneuverable light observation helicopter (LOH program). Initially fielded in Vietnam in early 1968, the Hughes OH-6A was used for command and control, observation, target acquisition, and reconnaissance. West/Air (CSJ Nam Birds)/ OH-6  has rightside door gunner OH-6a has leftside mount M134 download updated from OFP Info  OfpNAM  OfpBASE pics include sections from 'Jungle Fever' minimod
franze 196 Posted October 27, 2006 Neat little aircraft! Manueverability feels good and smokes are very much ideal for it. Flexible and basic little scout. Some bugs: OH-6 w/ M60, the gunner seems to be missing an animation. Both OH-6's have an awkward external view and seem to fly as if the tail was the CG. Any chance of a correction? Deathstruck 375 Posted October 28, 2006 How can I fix that missing gunner animation?
Ginger_Biscuit 0 Posted October 29, 2006 Hey CSJ! HUGE fan of your addons, blooming brilliant! Got the same problems as the other guys: gunner anim is kinda wierd. Also find i have a problem wit low altitude, low speed flights; chopeer becomes very unstable. However, superb for low altitude, high speed flights. Overall an excellent chopper. Can't wait till the next release! Kind Gegards, Biscuit
csj 0 Posted October 29, 2006 Gunner animation users animation from Huey Pack which I was meant to make independent but must have forgot. these things do happen  So this will be done next with fix up for those who like to fly third non realistic view outside of craft. Nothing to panic over.. short fix for those that don't have CSJ Huey pack is to get it or open OH-6 config.cpp goto edit select 'replace' find what: CSJUH1 replace with: CSJ_OH6 Replace all save and re PBO

Sennacherib 0 Posted October 29, 2006 nice but: where is the mud, the oil marks, the dust, etc. sorry but your model is great, but your textures are too plain.
csj 0 Posted October 30, 2006 Updated OH-6a model has been sent out Gunner animation is no longer relient on Huey Pack and external view changed. Updated is avail at OFP Info ----------------- Quote[/b] ]sorry but your model is great, but your textures are too plain. You have nothing to be sorry about, that's your opinion. I do not put my models here for public approval. I put my models here for the people in the OFP community to use if they wish to. If they don't like them IDGAF! One more thing where do you guys get the idea that everything is always covered in mud and dust etc - Hollywood? This is a flying machine, the crews life depends on how it functions. just like a grunts life dependant on how his gun functioned. you may see a dirty soldier but I bet you his weapon is clean

Sennacherib 0 Posted October 30, 2006 @CSJ, sorry if i have offended you. this wasn't my aim
j w 0 Posted October 30, 2006 I don't think he took it as you offended him, more like he stated that he lives after the "What I don't like, I don't download". I agree on D@ntes point though, the model is good, but textures looks worse then the model. Not bad though, I couldn't even do near that Good work, gonna test this as soon as I get some spare time JW

Just guessing, but if that's the case, more often the choppers will be played with in combat zones far from any hose pipes. Superb work CSJ, nice nippy little thing you've made there.
