Conspiracies Part III: The Resurection

Hi folks.

Well, I need your help. That's why I release an open alpha testversion for the public. I must know if everything works fine on your PCs. I am using a lot of new script and a complete new environment, which is never seen before in the Conspiracies universe. The Team and me working since 1 year on this project. It is done for 65% now. We tested a lot of scripts. We are working as longer as on every other project ever now. This part will an official part of Part 1 & 2. As I said we began working on this project before releasing Part 2. This demo is more like a tech demo. You can try a few new scripts, the new environment, the new dxdll is not included (optional Dl-link).

This Part will be the most authentic Conspiracies ever. We are using sat-pictures to rebuild the real environment in the game. I will try to create Pripjat into the scale 1:1. In the demo you can see ca. 30% of Pripjat. File is available for 14 days.

Features in this Open Alpha Testversion:

- 4 highly detailed sectors

- Eatingsystem 1.0

- Missionsystem 1.0

- Questsystem 1.0

- Sectorsystem 2.0

Because we are working for so long on this project now, we try to get this finished before ArmA. So we will concentrate more on Conspiracies Part 3 as on V.I.R.U.S.. Because V.I.R.U.S. is planned for ArmA.

I think it's my decision cpt.viper... if you got a problem ignore it... This is no new project ... I announced it a long time ago! Now stop talking off topic! I want to have some results of the alpha so we could continue work...

BTW: I have nearly 40 members.... It is really no problem to work on more than one project...

He prefer quantity over quality. That's all.

Only thing he is good at is "marketing" - all of previous projects was just couple of good-looking addons (not by him, of course) placed in so-called campaign, which every average mission-maker could create during one rainy day. But thanks to this massive hype these projects looks like something "very cool" and this is exactly what he wants.

Sled88, good look is not everything. Someone (like me) don't want to watch, someone wants to PLAY. Learn how to create true missions, not only addon parades.

I recommend you to try missions like Abandoned Armies (by THobson), Hawk In Nets (by Munch Studios), Down (by Sarge Studio), Three Kings (by Jezuro) or When to World Ends (by me) - all of these are very atmospheric and professionaly made missions.

That's why you gonna hate projects made by MY TEAM

It's not hate, it's pity.

What you prefer Gaia... Is realistic Campaigns / Missions... Not something like Conspiracies... That's why you gonna hate projects made by MY TEAM. Is it a crime to release his projects? You really think it is easy huh? Such hyper cool speeches from you were off topic... And i think you read the forum rules about posting huh? If you got a problem pm me! The same for all other hyper cool guys here... and girls... What is about testing this before spreading rumors...

Ok, this is just bad. Really bad... There's no briefing, no markers. Just some random addons mixed together with what seems to be a pretty simple and uninteresting mission.

Sorry but you have to do better than this.

It is a alpha tech demo... Try the campaign and gimme a statement about the new features! You can speak to 2 people in the campaign... there you get a mission and a quest...

i get the impression you are trying to impress people all the time. Take a break relax!

I often get ideas for missions from other games or films. I made a bank job mission with 10 wanted levels and various armed men respond .I think is the best mission i have ever played with my mate in mp!

People... I really need your help... I know that on some system the script doesn't work. So please help me trying it out. You can try the eatingscript if you shoot one of the rabbits in sector 1 and go to the corpse and eat them. You can find the man in the south of sector 1, he gives you a mission. In sector 3 is the other man with a quest. in sector 4 there are rabbits and ducks you can eat! If you eat an animal it will recover you complete health!

Sorry but you absolutely misundrestood what Gaia meant. icon_rolleyes.gif

Creating a campaign like one of yours doesn´t need any skills, it´s just placing units, waypoints and triggers on the map. Every OFP rookie who saw the editor at least once can do that. I create something like this every day just to entertain myself while waiting for ArmA.

I appreciate that you´re still enthusiastic enough to create stuff for OFP, but if you spent all the time you were creating these "campaigns" by learning how to script (or to make 3D models, textures, islands etc.) instead, you could create something much better.

And the fact I´m angry with all these projects of yours is because some newbies here who download them think that you made all that stuff by yourself (even addons).

It´s enjoying the glory gained by work of others.

Release a biggie and a goodie once in one or two years and you'll earn your place among the gurus just-like-that. And don't get all pis*ed getting negative sayabouts now and then. We don't envy you, as you may think.

I used to be one. Part I had a lot of potential, but you never really evolved. This feels just like part I did.

Your 'mod' has to evolve if you want your fans.

That was not offtopic, that was just review of your editing style.

If you want to hear only praise, don't be surprise if someone say that you are not mission-maker at all.

I aggree with Ti0n3r, Sled88. Part I did have potential, but you blew it off as if it was "old news". I am not trying to pick a fight with you, heck, I doubt anyone who posted here was. Apart, of course, from you, who immediately after some constructive criticism lashed out at them. If you don't want people to tell you what they think, then don't post about your "campaigns".

Also, taking all the credit for it when you haven't even produced an "amazing" campaign that uses other people's addons is very immature on these forums and winds you up with people telling you that it is immature like I am now.

So please, for all our sakes, stop getting angry at us for giving you constructive criticism. We're just doing our job. If you don't want it, don't post it. Simple.

Just as Gaia says, we prefer Quality over Quantity.

As an example, take a look at the Inv. 44 team, they've been working on a single project for some years now.

I bet they could of released small parts every now and then, but it's about the quality of your project, not how much you can produce in the shortest time as possible.

Again, we do not express any anger towards you, we just give our personal opinion and the facts.

Yeah same here. At the site I get 403 access denied. The alpha file took forever to download. I hope it has something redeming after all the negitive comments. Given all of his mods are a little strange.
