Distribution method idea

I have heard that BI was having trouble finding a globe publisher (i don't know if they have found one yet, maybe they have and just have not told us about it, i don't know). But if they can not find a publisher why don't they just have it for download, like through Steam or via Direct2Drive or something like that? I think that might be a good way to put it out if they can't find a publisher.

I don't know, just something I was thinking about.

They've already said they'll look into digitial distribution if they can't find a publisher.

Well it seem Bohemia is in touch with a lot of Publisher :

I know Focus and Atari are trying, so i think a lot more publisher must try to take over the publishing of ArmA

If the publisher Atari is always the same as the Atari that published the Epic Megagames' UT 2004 , it would not be a bad choice.

Not only because of the world wide distribution, but considering how many support/patches/free expansion packs Epic Megagames was able to provide while being published by Atari.

..Of course, again if this current Atari is always the same Atari from the UT2004 years.

As with all those companies being bought by other bigger companies, and the marketing trick of moving an existing name to a completely different company (the name Atari already got this treatment in the past) , it could be a different policy now, like the "slavery"-like one some other known publisher put on a developer.

Dosnt Atari has something to do with OFP in Australia . I forgot wat it was but it had something to do with Publishing
