As far as I know, there is no place to get it from. There was a leak a long time ago, but that site was promptly taken down. Unfortunately, it seems as if we're stuck with what we have so far.

I think the best bet will be to start a new Canadian mod. Personally, I don't think it matters if it's a little late in the game, as we've already been told that the units can be ported over to ArmA.

If anyone is interested, maybe we can get something going here. I'm a little bit of a modeller, config writer, and amateur animator.

Good to hear that we may have some new troops and units on the way!

As for the rest of the equipment of the CF, alot of it has already been made. The Coyote could be based off of SEF LAV-25, they're very similar vehicles. The Leopard C1 could use BWMOD's version. And as for LSVWs, its an Italian vehicle and Pedagne Mod had some very fine looking trucks.

Yea, I was definately thinking about asking other MODs for their help. Building everything from scratch would take way beyond the time needed.

My addon-making experience is limited, well non-existent....could never figure out how to use Oxygen and all those other gadgets. I know a little bit about configs, but mainly adding and replacing weapons. But if you need some pics or technical data on the real-life stuff i can help you guys there.

It's okay, Canadian Ranger. Like I said, I'm just okay at modeling. I've gone through all the tutorials on this site here to learn the generalities of addon making.

Plus, Col. Klink has a good tutorial on how to model an airplane, which ought to teach you how to model off of blueprints, which is where the action all starts. His tutorial is here.

@CC: Sounds good. My modeling experience was nil until a couple of months ago too. You can try those links above and come to me for help as well. If not, I'd love to get pictures and whatnot.

My problem with mapping is... I'm not good at it. I am much better at switching already mapped textures with my new ones.
