Reskinned RHS Motorized Infantry

I decided to reskin our Motorized infantry a bit, almost all textures were edited or completely redone.

Still many things im not happy with like the yellow shine of the vsr and a few inaccuracys.

Also the Models are still 100% the same since i had no mlod variants at hand but there will be another update sooner or later where the models are updated and most probably will use Llaumas heads.

Included is the RHS_RFMI-Scripts.pbo only thing edited in it is that the vsr radioman now carries a radio on his back as he should.

Also heres a fixed version of the rpg22, the weird shining outlines are now gone.

I added a password cause people have a tendency to search around in root directorys and i didnt want anyone to play these before i was sure i wanted to release them tonight.

If any page uploads them they can remove the PW offcourse... means: mirrors wanted my webspace aint that great, hehe.

@Offtime, thx, however its nothing compared to the superb textures you made lately.

Well the idea behind it was more to update the units a lil bit things like the flora cammo that was totally crapped up by textview back then... or the blurry bedroll textures, the yellow helmets etc etc...

Nice job on this update.

Maybe i was so used to the previous VSR , or maybe it is because of the yellow tone of the new texture like you noticed yourself, but i prefer the old VSR one.

But that's just a personnal preference, the new texture is visually less degraded by texview than the old one and despite i prefer the old one, it looks very good.

The flora seems very nice and the rolled "thing" in the backpack texture is less blurry, good work on this update .

Right the yellow shine is bit odd but on most pics the vsr often has soem kinda colour glow, well see if i can fix this, other variant is un-pbo it and put old vsr in there so anyone gets what he likes best.

The benefits of the textures as they are atm are Flora works very well on Nogova like islands, everything with lighter grass colour like FDF islands are very suiteable for the guys in vsr

Not to forget what a wise old chinese man once said... there are as many vsr variants as companys producing them

Yup, and I used my own VSR uniform as reference for colours and pattern

Just a noob question here. I've checked the list of soldiers but i can't see any armed with the RPG22. Do i have to add that myself to the soldiers int line. Oh and a big thankyou for updating these soldiers. As you stated earlier in this thread, llaumas heads will indeed add to this already excellent addon. But will you be making your own face textures for that pack. Also i was wondering if you've ever considered adding Russian voices to your soldiers as it's a bit wierd hearing a western accent coming from these guys. Or is it that my OFP sound file is f***ed up...

I am wondering which VSR pattern is more realistic, the first one released or this new one ? I think there are different versions of VSR, but which one is more common?

Its absolutely the same pack just with textures improved, look at cammos, bedroll, backpacks, boot sole, helmet and also the inner lining, water bottles, 6b5 vests, gasmask packs, the mapcase on the officers and the pistol pouch... shall i go on?

Anyway if you dont like it fine use the old one

i think what he means is the original colours for the vsr. Quality vise the new release is much better and clearer. Alot of people might say that the original pack VSR looks better (just because it looks more like the VSR u usually see on the net on tv and so on) but shadow is correct there are as many different colour variations of the vsr as there are factories making them, and the one in the latest release represents the colours which are more vide spread.

We can discuss this to death but the main idea was to have a cammo for nogova like islands and the bit lighter vsr for islands with light green gras like for example in the wgl replacement islands of malden etc

Nice.  RHS brings nothing but fire to the table.

The GRU models forced me to spend hours and hours learning to edit configs because I wanted to make this

guy my Spetsnaz unit immediately.  God damn I'm obsessed with this one guy.  Like a Russian ninja or something.  That's big because Russians and ninjas are the two coolest groups of people on earth, to combine them almost makes the universe implode under the pressure.  In summary, you guys rock.  Your units are the best in OFP and are as good as any infantry model in any new game out there.

i mean nothing bad, just top quality, that requires time and hard work to model/config/texture/scrip well...

besides i like those GRU Spetsnaz men too they look not like anything else in todays military... that's because it's Spetsnaz

Dont bet on the T90, since ages nothign was doen on it and well the textures look quite outdated today.

Also they arent really used by russia afaik, they sold quite a few to india though.
