He might have been checking out the transport I made. And It showed up in the Mission.sqm file. check out his site.........click on WWW from his post and check out bigus's page. You can download the transport and some missions from there as well as an update to the monitor. tsalagikola 0 Posted January 25, 2006 What I am trying to do now is let you buy any of the gunemplacements,Breastworks, Chevaux-de-frise and the earthworks so it would be different to play on line and hold your flag with a fort. longstreetcsa 0 Posted January 27, 2006 Hey there! is there a way to rework the "teststretcher" script (the one where the medics with the stretcher pick up wounded soldiers) to make the guys with the stretcher pick up dead soldiers, carry them to some place (f.e. a waggon) where the dead are deleted? I tried to do ib but couldn't - would be a very useful thing if it would work! Another thing: I experimented a bit with a follow script where 2 groupleaders are following the player (each with a full compliment of troops) so it looks like 3 x 12 soldiers advancing - doesn't look too bad actually: Only thing I still need to find out is a way to control the behaviour of those other two groups like I can do with my own (f.e. fire volley,... - so all 3 groups fire at my command). OFP:Elite was fun but not as fun as playing the Mod.(Although it was fun playing the campaigns again) I'm gunna try making some navel missions soon and maybe try to push the limits of the mod and see if I can make a Regiment sized mission (over an entire map though to reduce lag). bigus Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Smyrnov 0 Posted February 7, 2006 Hello everyone and welcome! The mod looks awesome but sadly it doesn’t work for me. As matter of fact, I’m new to OFP in general so it’s most likely my fault. I have OFP Game of the Year Edition and patched to v. 1.96, which runs smoothly by the way. I extracted the CWMOD to its place and created a shortcut as instructed. When I run the shortcut the screen flashes for a second and returns to Windows most the times, but I’ve also received this error after changing my display device at Preferences: Also the Napoleonic Wars mod doesn't work but I can't see why because my PC is powerful enough. Smyrnov 0 Posted February 7, 2006 Well, I’ve only installed OFP GOTY, the 1.96 update and the CWMOD directory. Maybe it has something to do with the patching. NeMeSiS 11 Posted February 7, 2006 In case anyone is looking for a good Wild West game, GUN looks pretty impressive Played it, pretty nice, but the ''world'' exists of levels taped together with loadingzones (shocks during gameplay). And all of those ''levels'' are tiny, so constant loading. It looks pretty and it has the ability to use more then 1 gun at the same time. Has good horseriding and that's about it... impressive that you still have the ability to type on your 21st birthday  He is dutch, we are allowed to drink once we are 16... Anyways, this mod just keeps fun to play with, altough its a lot harder to make some decent mission with them then it is with modern units, so i mostly make quick skirmishes, and again, and again.... Yeah, it's a pain in the *ss to have to make an entire mission to have a realistic scenario, with the fighting style of the napoleonic era That is the main reason why House Divided mod decided not to do any large battles, as it would take alot of time to make and would leave the player with little room for employing their own initiative in our opinion. The missions that I have made are like that and it gets wild playing them online. Well I am working on missions and they are not finished and not perfect but I can post what I have and anyone can test and let me know what you think. It seemed to be more of a strategic battle using the map more than a hands on affair so I scrapped it. The amphibious mission is coming along o.k though. It seems ProfT has made himself a nice multigun ship. Playing CWMOD is a whole different experience now. Lots and lots of troops (played with some 150 men and horses running around the battlefield with no stuttering) ...a dozen cannons roaring...2 mile visibility... OFP CZ new site We're experiencing an issue with the FTP#1 server used for hosting big files such as addons, mods or missions. That's why no download is currently working at the moment on this FTP (links using :8021 in address). However the FTP#2 is working properly, even if it is slower since there's no load balancing anymore. The FTP#1 server will be down for at least 1 week. It's a consequence of the hosting problem we had some time ago, the current FTP#1 server hardware can't handle the huge traffic. Edit: FTP#2 server can't handle the whole traffic, it has been turned off directly by our host, and there's nothing we can do about it. We will have more information next monday. bigus_dikus 0 Posted March 24, 2006 here is the fixed enfield and musket. it fixes the multiple addactions in MP when you die. It also brings back the old bayonet attacks from ver 1.1 my site I also got a site up and running to post some more stuff. hopefully a rebel ironclad in the near future.
