[aps]gnat 28 Posted March 11, 2006 bummer logitech are crap ..mines in the bin take it back and swap for a saitek stick if you can LOL ... just did the opposite ! Bloody brand new Saitek Evo Wireless had a dead spot in the centre and seemed the wireless link cut out from time to time. While the Evo looked and felt better, I swapped it for a Logitech Force 3D Pro. Love it, nice fine resolution and great Force Feedback, great for my IL2 flying too
Scrub 0 Posted March 12, 2006 Saitek is a great manufacturer, I have the older '35 system and am very happy with it. A necessity with all aircraft in ofp.
Mr ThunderMakeR 0 Posted March 18, 2006 Biggest joystick benenfit for me is that choppers no longer change elevation on thier own. In other words, when flying with keyboard and mouse, if you go over a hill, the helicopter will go up as the land goes up. With a joystick, helicopters maintin a constant altitude above sea level, making it a lot easier to fly through mountains and hills, and a LOT more realistic. BlackScorpion 0 Posted March 18, 2006 Actually, I think they do, but it depends on your speed. If you fly something like <10 km/h, I've seen the choppers going up, atleast. Atleast I didn't have to touch my throttle control when sneaking over the dynes on Nogova.
