Note: remove the very very old CSJhueyD.pbo and CSJUh1Navy.pbo (if you have either of them) these files will conflict with new .pbo's Readme file list all that have contributed along the way, thankyou for input. csj 0 Posted December 2, 2005 I have seen what ConfuciusOFP has mentioned and it is weird. App only happens with the M260 and M261. I can not reproduce it even with 12 of them flying. The only changes made with this release and the last release where as stated above, nothing else has been changed. Fixed texture erosion caused by rotor blur - I can not see this effecting anything it shouldn't. Missing guns mounts on M260, M261 and missing textures on stokes - the gun mounts were there but not selected to be shown in the hidden selections - so I changed i do be shown. and some texture problems I picked up on the D and H models. all this was the antenna off the H model would be partly showing on the D model. Matter of selecting the full section where as only part was selected before. Now for the funny thing, I did 3 days of testing to make absolutely sure there were no other bugs, tested all models (literally) flew them empty/full, single and in groups, fired all their guns etc. I did this testing with no other addons in OFP. I read your post today so I go back in to check again and now I get this problem with can't find 'csjS11.sqs' (only on some H and D models as was mentioned before in the last release). Still with no other addons in OFP. OK, I check cpp and folders, the sqs is there and the path is correct. My conclusion is - I don't have a F%$@%*! clue.  Except maybe the size and/or structure of the Pack. It seems the larger the Pack got the more little problems would surface, different problems on different PC's and with items that have not been altered since day 1. Possible fix - break Pack down to smaller individual modules is all I can think of but I am open to suggestions. Maybe there comes a point where ppl should be happy with what they have and not keep wanting more and more  Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Cpt. FrostBite 0 Posted December 2, 2005 Cpt.FrostBite to the rescue! Â Â again... Â I already suspected it had something to do with the proxies and I was right it seems. Take a look at the selection on the picture. It should have the miniguns selected, but also included in the selection are all the cargo and pilot proxies. I only looked at hueyC.p3d and found the following selections that include cargo proxies (which probably shouldn't be included); -Minigun -Cm3 -Cm6 -Cm134 I suggest you take a good look at these selections and fix them if needed. I'm not sure if the selections were supposed to include the proxies, but the fact that they include the pilot proxy makes me suspect that this was not intended. Also check the other p3d-files for bad selections. This should fix the wierd bugs we are experiencing now. I suggest you try and pack the PBO with un-converted MLOD p3d files (for use on your own computer) and see if you still have the bugs. Perhaps your conversion to ODOL format is messing up the selections. That would be very strange, but it's a possibility and not too much work to check. I removed the csjHueyD.pbo from @unsung folder and now everything is back to normal. Apparently it still conflicts with CSJUH1.pbo from out of the addon folder. I remember once one of my mates had different meekong versions in his \ofp\addons; \res\addons\ and \nam\addons\ folders. Took us bloody ages to figure out why despite having the latest island version, he was always 'running thru air' or sunk in the ground Keep up the good work Scud, I built AAO to fly the RAAF birds on -PTP was too small for much flying and the Dat was on a 'coastline' - So I may include some updated Nam islands in a coming island pack, I have about 30 odd battlefields (eras 1942-2005 for the Pacific, Vietnam, Timor, Euro, Med and Desert) which should see the light of day before we shelve OFP for AA Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Same here... all other folders checked, old files replaced or deleted, but the M260 and 261 produces weird graphic errors, but the game does not crash... H, D M260, D M261, D Slick, A2 Bushranger, A2 Slick, Huey M260, Huey M261, Huey XM213, Slick, VNAF Slick, XM213. The "_" variants without rear cargo seats don't seem to have any issues. What it looks like is a white spear extending up from the roof. If I start inside the helo, it's fine, but as soon as I get out and look at the chopper, bam, texture artifact and game crash (for me anyways). Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

The "_" variants or flat/clear decks are a sep model then so is the A2 Bushranger to the rest and nothing was done with that bar the miniguns which the H model does not have. I still don't understand why it does this with some pc's and not others. Yeah, same to me... inside the chopper everything is fine, in the external view i get a weird dark grey texture-wall with light grey stripes all across the screen but my game does not crash... csj 0 Posted December 5, 2005 I have 2 confirmations from gunfighter-6 and ConfuciusOFP that new fix works would like to hear from atleast 1 more.
