BlackScorpion 0 Posted November 27, 2005 Well, as you can read, if you can, I'm asking if there are any static animations that can be used with pistol in hand. I've tried using Wilco's all-in-one pack (great anims BTW), but there's no gun in the guy's hands... And no, I'm not looking for a pistol animations replacement. I do have the DMA one. Just something for combat/squad photography, posing animations. I hope I made myself clear enough. Any help appreciated. Even telling if it's possible (and how to do it) is appreciated. Delta-Force 0 Posted November 27, 2005 I want to create someone but I need a p3d model with a pistol. To create anims we need a p3d model. This model has an ak 47 and a rpg launcher. sanctuary 19 Posted November 28, 2005 To create pistol animations, you must use a model that has the pistol proxy, and the soviet crew tank that is in OFPAnim is certainly the pre-resistance one and does not have the pistol proxy. So use this model instead of the BIS soviet tank crew , it is supported by OFPAnim and unlike the tank crew that is included in OFPAnim , it has the pistol proxy. then place KMMwood.p3d inside your 'Demo Data' folder -You then need 2 files : Beretta.p3d NVG_Proxy.p3d Both files are found inside the \Res\Dta\Hwtl\ Data3D.pbo Put those 2 files inside the OFPAnim " Demo Data " folder, where you placed the soldier KMMwood.p3d If it does not work, convert the Beretta.p3d and NVG_Proxy.p3d into MLOD with ODOL Explorer (as it was a very long time ago, I don't remember if it was an obligation to have those files in MLOD). Yeah, I know the anim looks a bit strange and that the hand holding the pistol is a bit off. I think I'll just fix that and make a config, .pbo this and try in-game. Just one hint, you can hide all the unimportant sections when making it (ie: The binoculars, wound textures, nvgoggles, etc.) to get a better view at only what you need. If you need a hand at getting it in-game I'm willing to take a look at it for you too. Abs EDIT: Don't worry, those painful hours become painful quarter-hours when you get used to it. BlackScorpion 0 Posted January 29, 2006 OK, it's been a while already... anybody worked on these? I haven't got my anim to work... Also, few ideas. Dunno about it, but maybe Wilco, now that he's back, could update his pack a bit, possibly add a few more. I just love the way they stay in the anims for few mins, helps alot. But some of them feel a bit old, and some more would be fun. And the 2nd idea. We have anims for marching, kicking, punching, jumping (some sort of), peeing, smoking cigs... but now that it's wintertime (not for long though - ), how about some "freezing" animations? Jumping to keep yourself warm, warming your hands (animated or few different) etc., you know. Also some more resting anims, maybe, dunno. Just few ideas, I hope some of them "take off". wildo 0 Posted January 30, 2006 it is possible to have dual pistols/uzi's/insert gun here BUT it would look a tad odd with some guns and also it may have many bugs but if anyones bored have a go, im just redoing these animated hands which will provide better cutscenes and normal animations Wildo Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
