Edge 2 Posted July 2, 2005 I get a message along the lines, "nmmod requires version 1.92."Then it goes back to my desktop. What is going on? Sincerely, MilitiaSniper Do you have instaled all BIA patches? You need last official OFP update to version 1.96 to play this MOD.
MilitiaSniper 0 Posted July 2, 2005 Yes! My OFP Version say 1.96! Sincerely, MilitiaSniper
DBR_ONIX 0 Posted July 2, 2005 "nmmod" isn't included with CLSA2 (Searched for files containing nmmod, and no results) use search (on OFP Folder) to find "nm*.*", and there will be a file nmmod.pbo I think. Remove that and it should be okay.. - Ben
MAA 127 Posted July 2, 2005 "nmmod" is include FFUR effect pack but nobody report this problem. I don't know how to help you... maybe your OFP needs reinstall or use CSLA effects.
MilitiaSniper 0 Posted July 2, 2005 So I don't need FFUR? Cause I have nothing but problems with that! I'll give it one more chance. Justthe CSLA install only! Sincerely, MilitiaSniper
MAA 127 Posted July 2, 2005 Delete CSLA folder from your OFP and install Update1 again ... but without FFUR effect pack.
MilitiaSniper 0 Posted July 2, 2005 I'll let you know what happens! Thanks again! Sincerely, MilitiaSniper

DBR_ONIX 0 Posted July 2, 2005 Great addon you guys - spent most of last night tinkering around the mission editor with it, then managed to barely escape with my life on the dynamic mission . Anyway, silly noob question; is there a way to mix the CSLA mod with the FDF mod? I have tons of stuff with FDF units in and I'd really like to add some of the CSLA units to them in the mission editor. Any advice? You *MIGHT* be able to rename the DTA folder to something else (__DTA, anything other than DTA) Not sure how much is defined in there, hopefully it'll just be reworked GUI and effects, and the addons have their own config PBO in /addons - Ben
Przezdzieblo 0 Posted July 2, 2005 Few things about armour: - T55AM2 "bra" applique is too small, IRW this armour is bigger (compare with pics http://tanxheaven.com/ludob/t55am2/t55am2ld.htm )  - were RPGs and Strielas standard T55s additional weapons? - there were no ATGM in T55 of AM2 version (and T55s were  equipped not with 9K112 Kobra but 9K116 Bastion) - T72B were never equipped with 9K112 Kobra (T64B/T80B only!!! ) - but with 9K120 Svir - it seems very, very odd to see action in menu reload 9K112 Kobra; 9K112 is designation of guided missile fire control complex - which is hard to reload ; designation of that round is 9M112; and for ATGM equipped T55s (f.e. T55AM2B, T55M, T55AM) it would be better reload 9M117 (missile) or reload 3UBK10-1 (round) action - tank ATGMs seem not very accurate; player must aim much above target, missile has tendency to hit the ground (same with BMP1P Fagots - almost impossible to hit a target) - your T72M2 looks like T72M1D, T72M1 with Dyna-72 ERA (rather rare; maybe you have better resources about reactive armour in Czech forces before T72M4Cz); T72M2 is designation of another vehicles (Moderna prototype and ERA equipped T72B variant) - were ever BMP1 gun firing with APDS? Was it possible to low pressure 2A38 gun? Your BMP1s can fire those kind of rounds.. balance: - it is rather strange that T55AM2 need 2 ATGM hits (fired from another T55AM2) to blow up and only one HEAT - IRW 9M117 missiles were more powerful (more than 550 mm RHAe penetration) than standard HEAT ammo (less than 400 mm RHAe penetration). Same with T72B. It seems like tank ATGMs are underpowered. P.S. Inaccuracy of ARs in full auto is impressive... recoil huge and additional disspertion. P.P.S. OT64 textures looks great! Susan looks nice and Dirty Dozen seem to be little "overhealthed"  P.P.S. Maybe think about modified tank interiors? Great source would be this page: http://www.kotsch88.de/autolader.htm there are reticles and photos of tank interiors, including FCS elements
Edge 2 Posted July 2, 2005 @Przezdzieblo: Thanks for the comments on T-55, we will try to solve it in a future patch. OT-64 textures were fine-tuned by Marfy, they simply must be amazing. Susan was made by Yoshimitsu after extensive research in the nearest XXX shop. Dirty Dozen are "overhealthed" because silly players could not keep them alive in certain missions of "Red Head" campaign. We suggest to give up their use in any mission with realistic attitude. Thank you all for the positive feedback. Regarding the bugs or realism issues, many of them emerged just after we released the mod - as we expected. We promise to keep track on the constructive crtitics and patch the issues when we gather enough of feedback. Now return to playing CSLA Mod, guys...

Guest major gandhi Posted July 2, 2005 I just tried the mod with a single mission that came with resistance, you had to attack a village somewhere on nogova wiht 2 m2a2s as support. A really big problem that I encountered is that some of my squad mates blow out 4 magazines !!!!!!! during a contact with an enemy squad lasting only 40 seconds or something, always using bursts. on the one hand this really rocks because it creates a really intense combat atmosphere, but on the other hand it just sucks having half of your squad screaming for ammo after the first enemy contact. Raptor It's laggy on my computer too, yes. Around 1 up to 5 FPS, that's very little. I didn' install FFUR effects because of lowEnd system, but "old" CSLAII Campain works fine. Seems to be really a problem of the updated version...

clausewitz 1 Posted July 2, 2005 I have a GeForce FX 5600XT. You think this could be a reason for that problem?
MATRA 0 Posted July 2, 2005 Yep, gandaf is right, on my 6800 I have a lot of lag in some videos and missions.
CanadianTerror 0 Posted July 3, 2005 I have a GeForce4 MX4000. The only real lag I get is when I turn to the side. Missions and video are fine.
DBR_ONIX 0 Posted July 3, 2005 I think the word "config" was ment to be specification. OFP was optimised for low-spec PCs You could have an extremely powerfull PC and OFP will still run as fast as on a normal spec PC in most cases. The old CLSA stuff wont have been as detailed in models, or as high-res textures, so that'll explain the slow down.
