The roadster isn't dead! I just made a little Kreativpause, how Harald Schmidt would call it.

The project makes headway and is slowly but surely moving to completion.

Some details have to be added and some texture work and polishing has to be done.

I'm planning to release an Alpha in the next days if my workflow won't be disrupted by unexpected influences.

Is there casually someone who could create a nice roadster sound for me? I'm not very into the flashpoint audio engine.

I don't know where to get an original Smart Roadster engine sound, but I think there are tools to convert soundfiles to OFP soundfile standard around somewhere...

It's an alpha and also my first addon, so don't expect perfection:

- The interior lacks detail and polishment.

- The texture transitions on the sides have to be done.

- The sound is provisionally.

- The config likely needs some tuning - feel free to make suggestions.

@BUZZARD: The sound recording is no problem. But I think it's very difficult to make it sound like the real car in the game, because of Flashpoint's old school motor sound simulation.

Anyway, I gave it a shot in the alpha.

Edit- After some (short) testing, I can say, it's a pleasure to drive around. Maybe make the texture for the back more generic, or even transparent (like front windshield). Nice first addon though!

Good work mate! I took this little cute car for a little ride on the just released Pheonix Island. The model and textures are very nice. One thing that could be improved, though, is the handling. I mean, for such a small car, it should be more manouverable. Currently it steers like a Humvee.

Looks and sounds marvelous, d034rk!!! Snappy brakes give it an extra-authentic feeling Only the interior view is a bit too far back, although it may be realistic, it's not too practical... overall though, it's a great car, and with the clear rear windows, it'll be even better!!!
