Hey Vit great addon!

However I am missing the skins for other countries and get a crash to desktop when I try to look through the gunner's sites. crazy_o.gif

One suggestion I have though. Would it be possible to have a script to enable the doors to be opened manually in the editor via trigger, aswell as automatically when the chopper lands? Is this already included? (I couldn't find it anyway in the readme sad_o.gif )

It would look good for cutscenes etc. smile_o.gif

I talked with the ECP team about it and they are saying that your chopper isnt ECP compatible thats why when i run it with ECP i dont see any dust , can you plz fix this issue? I dont like it without the effects and dont wanna turn of ECP just because of it sad_o.gif .

Funny FlashFx shows dust and smoke scripts on this bird fine, its very large you have to look closely. Which is nice it overridees the normal ones Vit uses cause they are laggy. It uses ECP core as its base, so not usure why its not showing on ECP, I don't use it cause its wasn't not as easy to install as Flash FX nore supported heli-units as well

Theadvenger your welcome to go back to the BIS hind or creat one yourself, Vit has done a great deal of work in this addon. FYI the original modle was 40K in polies. And had tons of errors, in its make up its over 10 years old.. This is still in beta as well meaning its gonna have bugs.

Maybe I'vew found another minor bug:

Today I've tested the chopper with a friend on a server I hosted.

Normally when starting with the Hind on the ground, doors are opened and when starting the engines the door will close.

In MP the chopper is starting with doors closed and when starting up the engine the doors will open and you can't close them until you shut down the engine again.

Its only a matter of inserting a bit of CODE in your addon VIT (or so i think its that simple). As i said try asking machoman or Zay in the ecp thread or PM them.

Not sure if you noticed it, remember the P model errors... Not 25mm, 30mm or 23mm and it should be available without shooting off the whole other arsenal.

The Mi-24P and Mi-24V have four underwing pylons for up to twelve antitank missiles. The Mi-24V (Mi-35) is armed with the Shturm anti-tank guided missile system. Shturm (NATO designation AT-6 Spiral) is a short-range missile with semi-automatic radio command guidance. The 5.4kg high-explosive fragmentation warhead is capable of penetrating up to 650mm of armour. Maximum range is 5km.

The Mi-24V can also carry the longer-range Ataka anti-tank missile system (NATO designation AT-9), as can the Mi-24P. The Ataka missile's guidance is by narrow radar beam, and the maximum range of the missile is 8km. The average target range is between 3-6km. The target hit probability of the Ataka missile is higher than 0.96 at ranges 3-6km. The missile has a shaped-charge 7.4kg warhead, with a tandem charge for penetration of 800mm thick explosive reactive armour.

All Mi-24 helicopters can also be armed with rockets and grenade launchers.

i don't think that this "ecp" compability is that important now as he would only do it for you and your teammates, so do it yourself or wait with questions like this until the mod is out

Isnt that for VIT to decide? rock.gif

If he does this then it will make his heli compatible with ECP (the current one aswell).

There is a current version of ECP already released. Look here. Sorry for off topic but Tomislav kept stating that ECP hadn't been released and it has  rock.gif

Ontopic. I would like someones opinon on whether these are better than Mr Yoda's MI24's as seen here as i don't want to clutter up my addons and for obvious reasons i want the best MI24's that there is. I hope that didn't sound disrespectful as it was not my intention.

Fix some bugs and add some thinks...

Thank you very much for fixing the ECP bug , its a matter of adding eventhandlers in to your addon as RED pointed out to me (thickskull) its right there on the ECP page biggrin_o.gif .

I checked your download page and clicked on version 1.1 but it's not the 1.1 fix afaik. As my pilot still has animation on start and i.ve got no MI35-P
