Balschoiw 0 Posted April 4, 2005 Hi ! I just wondered if it would speed up the process of bringing OFP 2 to life if the community got involved with betatesting OFP 2. This could be handled the same way as it was handled when the early tools were released for modding OFP. Something like, applying, getting a code, signing a declaration , sending it back to BIS and checking OFP 2 with a catalogue set up by BIS. Don´t get me wrong, I´m not talking about a public beta, but more something like an extended BIS beta with people who know OFP 1 indepth and are willing to spend time to find flaws, checking OFP 2 on different computer settings and write a report on the product itself for BIS wich would enable BIS to iron out major flaws or issues before the release. OFP 1 had some of that issues when it came out back in the days. Why not use the willing community to prevent such for OFP 2 ? Just an idea. I know it´s highly unlikely that BIS will actually go for that, but I guess in a limited scenario, this would be something the product OFP 2 could really benefit from. I'd hope that at least they would get the nick right :P betatesting sounds nice... who`ll give better advice regarding ofp2, cs-idiot or hardcore ofp1 fan...? you have my vote And I think, they spelled the nick correctly...if you know what I mean.
