nephilim 0 Posted February 23, 2005 O.o.... this whole new human model stuff is kinda gettign weird... i mean theres already stuff in progress dudes llauma and me are already working since i dotn know on new humn replacements no need for extra humans this gonna turn out liek m4´s.. @seminara search first there are already threads like there shoudl be a pop up screen for every new person here that registers and that is forced to read it.... we wouldnt be annoyed by such unusefull threads at least i am... Nothing turned up in the topic titles and unfortunately, this search facility does not highlight the keywords or - what would be of more use - bring you to the exact page of the message string. Having a full time job I unfortunately do not have the leisue time to troll through 100's of pages, looking for the elusive needle in this particular hay stack. You're annoyed I'm sad. I'm annoyed as well, with your unhelpful comments and with the unhelpful search facility I've just described. Forget about popups mate - they're not needed over here. franze 196 Posted February 23, 2005 The only improved "head" that I'm aware of is the upgraded Soviet soldier made not too long ago - I forget who did it. OT - What I don't understand, most of all, is why some of you think that lots of addons (especially those of the same type) are bad. You do know variety is good, right? The resulting competition between the teams doing the same addons is also good, IMO. Well, I am doing this for my purposes (to master my modelling + to make mine own units to play with afterwards) I am also exceeding poly count a bit so I guess it will not be a community valuable. nephilim 0 Posted February 23, 2005 i never said no one want to help... but sometimes u need to dig in sth to find it.. the next i dotn want to browse thorugh some pages of sth im looking after ill post too.... its not the new model shit.. tis the searching thing .. the uap thread for exampel was only on page 2 of a&m discussion.. i searched for: new head           new soldiers,           new hands           humans and ive foudn the threads ive been looking after sure they waernt right on top on of the list e-xplorer cant read ur mind  ud onyl need to browse maybe 10-20 pages and i dot think thats too much next time think twice b4 u post sth about new stuff u want it might be done already....(or in wip) sorry im in a bloody mood today... If you've got a problem with that email me directly and we can sort it out amongst ourselves and not waste thread space with your ignorant bullsh*t. @Franze: you're absolutely right. Design advancement (of any type) is based on competition and the urge to 'build a better mouse trap'. If you think of the origin of the Russian Soldier addon please let me know. @Combat Chaplain: Agreed - 3 does not constitute a flood - especially not in the creative world of OFP development.
