currently there are two completed versions, and one under construction... anyone who knows much about UK kit, or can use google, will probally be able to guess the other two versions

another update... sorry its been so long, but obviously been doing alot of work on projects... Support Weapons are coming along nicely, and so is this baby:

Looks good, but I think the wheels are wrong.

The defender 110 Wolf XD in service with the RNLMC:

The actual tire on your model seems to be to thin (black section around the yellow center). Sorry, I don't the right english word voor 'velg' ('rim' perhaps?).

The yellow center seems to large for the weel.

These bigger tires is what makes the Wolf XD look so ubercool

not wrong as such... if you look carefully it is the same wheel, but when retrofitting it from the old landys we released, i only changed the texture at first and the size of the wheels - but didnt make the width of the actual rubber any different... like i said, its seen some changes since including correct side and tail lights and other small additions... very good spot though  

i didnt know the dutch used the wolfs as well

The pinkie's being counted as another vehicle, not part of the Landy XD pack AFAIK.

The other 2 versions are probably a version with a Milan ATGM and one either a GPMG or Mk19 on the back. More likely the Gimpey as I think the Mk19 may only be fitted on pinkies.

Actually we have two 'wolfs' in service;

-Landrover Defender 110 Wolf XD

-MB Wolf jeep

The Laro (or landy for you brits) is used by our Marine Corps. Probably to make it more comaptible with the Royal Marines. (we also use the BV-206, just like the RMC).

We have a hard-top version, soft-top version and soft-top with turret (.50 M2HB or FN-Mag/GPMG). On the picture in my previous post the turret-version is seen, but the turret is covered. Normally the turret would look like this;

The only we don't have is the 'snatch' armored laro. That would be a very nice addition to the Marine Corps, but unfortunately it's not even considered.

Keep it up, it looks great. I already thought you still had to change the weels, but I had to make sure.

Shame towing scripts have trouble with bridges (among other things) because I'd like to see one of these in OFP, as I know Huey would too.

Actually I think you are still working on replacing all of them. The BV-206 is still used in Iraq afaik.

The Viking is a very good improvement. Basicly it's the BV-206 with addition of (much needed) armor protection.

That's a point. Will UKF be working on a Snatch as recently seen in Iraq? I'd love to see some Snatch's patrolling with top covers sticking out of the roof (custom anims for the cargo passengers?).

the snatch version of the landy is being strongly considered seeing as it is being used more and more in combat in iraq... firstly though, i'll be getting the wolf hardtop finished, seeing as its a modification of that model

the NI version is slightly different seeing as they're grey, and have a crimestoppers number written on the side of them... otherwise they're the same

The snatch landy would be a very nice addon, but the wolf pack is much more interesting if you ask me. A set of unique vehicles with a bad-ass look

indeed... the basic idea i had in mind were the following packs:

WMIKS

Wolfs

Landrover Snatch Vehicles

Pinkys

then possibly some other specialised or modified units like the ambulance etc... we shall see
