Are there any addons for ofp which represents older units; eg. knights, roman soldiers, conquistadors...?

I know that napoleonic and civil war units exists. Some times ago there was also some anouncement about crusader mod.

It is interesting, that there are almost none weapons for hand to hand combat, althought this is possible to make (like GENB Vampires or SST Warrior Bug).

I noticed there was a castle addon in the making but that was well over a year ago, since then I haven't really heard about anything. MiG did a great job with Operation Farmland's Horror Pack 1, which includes a really nice reworked Crossbow. I too would like to see something to this effect, especially with the recent horse addon that is being made, I don't think these modern wars are the only ones that can make good use of it I would suspect it rather hard to make body armor, and weapon animations considering the default strike is the only one I know of. Maybe we will see something like this for OFP one day, I would really hope to.

If you wan't to add more relism to them you would have to make them communicate with each other by talkinig or screaming because knights didn't use radios.And body armour then swords.

Some new anims and stuff...This would be an another mod for OFP!

If your looking for a hand to hand combat look here for the Kungfu Mod. It has some attacks (ex. Hand, Foot). Look at the screenshots.

Is it possible that AI engages in hand to hand combat? Do you plan to make also any sword or spear addon? Anyway I wish you good luck with your mod

I'm still holding out hope for a Robin Hood mod, I think it would be great, bayonets work so we know we can have some kind of sword fighting, we almost have horses, and I'm sure with the skills of addons makers out there there's no reason why we can't have the required bows and crossbows

Hmm, I wonder if shields could be made? Yeah right, everybody fall down on me just because you're thinking CS 1.6, and that it was taken down in CS Source, but shields, old ones or modern, functional, would ROCK!

I would like to see some Medeval Mod with Catapults, X bows ,Spears and all that stuff

Would be fun to Attack a Castle and having HOT OIL poured on to you :P
