Sig 552

This is my first addon release, and yes it is a CS import .  This is version 1.0 of the addon.  I noticed there were no good SG552 assault rifle addons, so I went about importing a user-made skin from Counter-Strike.  Read the readme for proper credits and known bugs.  The gun can be found under West > Units > Soldier (SG552). Enjoy the addon!

Thanks for pointing these out.  As I am new to addon making and this sort of stuff, I will have to consult one of my addon-making friends for help with these bugs , so do not expect an update until after Christmas .

As I said in the A&M: D thread for this addon, I did not download the Swiss Mod so did not know about their Sigs .

No, no I imported both the model and textures . None of the appearance is my work. All I did was make the config (with the help of Jackal326) and use Earl's optics for the weapon.

I used a trial version of Deep Exploration to import it . It converted the model to 3DS format, then I imported the 3DS file into O2. It is not free unfortunately , but the trial is for 30 days .

Give the guy a break it's Christmas and he is obviously new to the forums. I know everyone is supposed to read the forum rules before posting, but you know that everyone doesn't read them when they first join. I say give the guy a second chance...I'm sure he won't do it again.

Good tool, I've used it too, easy to convert and easy to handle with the textures.

I was just @ OFP Base and saw a news post with my name in it and it felt really odd . Hope you all are enjoying the addon! I am working on fixing the 2 bug pointed out earlier. Version 1.1 will be released in a bit .

He joined 11 months ago, that doesn't make him new.

We're a company that produces software, to condone the theft of other people's software on our forums would be an unwise thing to do.
