well, anyway.. i would say that this island feels like scandinavia (sweden or finland) during 1930-1950, with all those small houses and stuff..

it doesnt realy feel like present day becouse most of those small cottages are gone now.

so, i recomend it for WW2 missions, too bad there arent any swedish or finnish WW2 stuff (yet), i know that FDF (or something) works on it though..

but i guess german and soviet ww2 stuff works, becouse germany helped finland during ww2..

Both FWW2 and FDFmod are apparently working on WW2 stuff.

About the era 1930 - 1950, most of my buildings can realistically be used from about 1850 (a few even earlier) to present day, as long as you keep in mind that they no longer are the dominating types in urban areas. In the countryside, they are still as common as 60 years ago. I even thought about making 3 distinct versions of Ancylus, 1918, 1939-1944 and 1960's to present day, but I haven't decided anything yet.

yeah, i know bout the houses ;)

but Kumlinge generally looks like something pre 1950´s ;)

especially if you imagine the north of sweden..

so, i hope you do atleast a 1918 map

though there isnt many ww1 addons out

If you mean Hailuoto yea, I might have a look if I can still find the .pew files created by Visitor becuase last time I checked the Island didn't load in WRPtooly ( =p )

I can try to use Winter Nogojev to make a standalone version from it (can't promise anything at this time yet) and use textures from Nogova to make a standalone version for the summer version. How's does that sound.

well, iirc LLW has a nice ground texture pack...

even though that makes it require another addon, atleast it´s smaller then FDF and can be used with any mod.

thay have both summer and winter textures wich atleast i find really nice..
