Albert Schweitzer 10 Posted November 5, 2004 I Hope we can figure this out. Â The ofp community has a real bad problem of cursing, cussing, swearing, bad words, whatever you want to call it. Â Man, we have got to stop this if we want to become successful people. Noone takes my liberties to call Placebo and Ralphy the names they deserve!

Albert Schweitzer 10 Posted November 5, 2004 I really cant remember a day where i haven't sworn or heard someone else swear its just part of coman language now theres no real tabu on it atleast in scotland anyway The problem is that during school and university and my jobs in foreign countries I got used to swear in all different languages. In germany cursing at your job is kind of low-class but I do it 24 hours and with words that are realy realy.... very embarassing sometimes. But it turned into reflex, if I drop a glass or break something I swear... realy realy loud
EiZei 0 Posted November 5, 2004 Fuck this poll, cursing seems to be prohibited on every another american/UK forum, I don't see a reason to follow that trend. Why is it that native english speakers are so sensitive about cursing? Most of the finnish forums I visit/used to visit users cuss like turkish sailors. gandalf the white 0 Posted November 5, 2004 i agree with baxter, "suck my dick!" should be banned, it's improper... "a snake bit in my penis! quick! suck out the pioson" would be far better . no honest, swearing is a way to releave pressure , if you don't lose some heat it's going to express itself in another way... Placebo 29 Posted November 5, 2004 Swearing will not be filtered because we're mature/adults and as such are capable of regulating our language, the only time I will take issue with swearing is when it's used excessively in an immature manner or used as a means of insulting someone. And BoweryBaker I don't know if you're going through a mental health/substance crisis but this is your final warning, contribute to these forums in the correct and accepted manner or refrain from posting, if you cannot make such a decision one will be made for you.
