UK Bedfords

Has anyone got any pictures of UK Bedford Army trucks I could go on? Current issue. I'm finding it hard to find pictures. Thanks in advance.

its becuase they are not used often anymore, our main 4 tonners now are the leyland models, the beddy wasn't even taken to iraq sad_o.gif , and even they are due for replacement, Ford has offer to build a totaly new range of trucks for the british army, ranging from 4 tonners to 8X8s wink_o.gif , if u want pics of bedford 4 tonners i would look for 'owners' clubs for military equipment smile_o.gif

Yea, the Bedfords are on the way out, MAN vehicles have been selected to replace the British Army's truck fleet.

Not to say you shouldn't make some though, they're good for past scenarios and I'd certainly like to see some.

It's also on MAN ERF's British site and there are a couple of British newssites who are lamenting that the contract was lost by a British company (LDV) in favour of a German one.
