Cpt. FrostBite 0 Posted October 2, 2004 Great model!! Although the surfaces look a bit wierd. Have you tried the 'p' command to get all surfaces really flat (flattens selected point in a surface). That together with sharp edges (for the stuff that is not supposed to be round) will make your model look a lot better).
orson 0 Posted October 2, 2004 Are you sure the Sturmtiger had a co-axial ? Â lol quick visit to google answered my question.. http://www.achtungpanzer.com/sttig.htm *ahem* carry on chaps. ... as you were
pzvg 0 Posted October 3, 2004 Waffenwagen? SD231-2 "achtrad" (8 wheeler) was the more common name, I built the acht, the six wheel (also called SD231-1) and a 222 for my own purposes, never considered release (bad textures, many problems with turrets) Note to ya, for some reason, these things draw fire like magnets, put an achtrad and a tiger in one mission against lib45 units, nobody fired on the Tiger (which was closer) until they flamed the achtrad. guess Sov troops are offended by the design
wildo 0 Posted October 4, 2004 when my internet at home works wi will post links on where i got the information for the names from :P pzvg would you be interested in having these models released? Wildo P.S. my msn is wildo_15@msn.com
pzvg 0 Posted October 4, 2004 They ain't that great, IMHO, but if you wish to pick and choose through them I'll send you what I have. I'll have to take a look at what they are, since some of my stuff uses parts from others models (never intended for release, therefore I never sought permissions)
pzvg 0 Posted October 4, 2004 Btw, SD.Kfz simply is shorthand for Sonder Kraftfahrezeug (special purpose vehicle) it was used to designate all military vehicles in German service (even captured equipment was given an SD number) Just as Pz.Kw pretty much just means Armored Fighting Vehicle.
