USA 4 Ever 0 Posted August 12, 2004 Hey guys, I've already search the forums for this but could not find anything on it. Why dont a Mod team make a Sports addon. I dont even know if the OFP engine would allow you to do something like this but wouldnt it be funny playing Baseball or Golf with OFP lol. philcommando 0 Posted August 12, 2004 lol! and i thot i am the mad one here, seems like i aint...ofp baseball or football???? hahahha But seriously, the ofp engine is awesome and i would be surprise if it cant be done, for the soldiers are already throwing grenades(which can be tone down in terms of damage in the config) and the soldiers can strokefist or strokegun( hitting something - the ball perhaps?)...furthermore there are waypoints for the players to move about, scripts that can fuzzy logic, animation possibilities........but then again, anything is possible..only if someone is determine enuff, with the patience to test and sweat to make it work. OFP is big enuff for everyone and everything..rich or poor, gal or guy, black or white, friends or foes, realistic mods or space out afficiondos like me! D.murphy man 0 Posted August 12, 2004 I suppose football/soccer (what ever side the pond your on) would be easyer to make in ofp then Amrican football. In one the old editor upgrades there was a foot/soccer ball and i remember seeing a football pitch addon. with a few scripts, useing set velocity,speed, and that you could make a decent OFP soccer game. would make intresting multiplayer game Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I guess thats why I like planes lol. I myself dont know enough to about OFP code to do this but it would be cool if one of the mod teams made a sport addon to OFP. WackyIraqi 2 Posted August 13, 2004 baseball would get kinda interesting...i think lt. hunter made a dive anim but i dunnu how it works so maybe some could tweak it into a sliding anim (or make a new one if that's easier).
