Consider Resistance 1.96 for all the added functions and scripting, netcode, engine optimisations and bug fixes, compatible quality recent addons, missions and servers. And it is cheap nowadays so just grab it tounge_o.gif .

I've got a dedicated server running most of the time. It's nothing huge, but it'll hold 6-8 ok.

you can see it in gamespy, as long as it stays running.

Ok well thanks for the info. Do you mind messaging me the address perhaps? I do not have Gamespy.

you can use gamespy through the internet. It's free. Use it.

My IP changes, so giving it to you won't help.

Why don't get a non changing "ip" like dyndns?

BTW: Gamespy is crappy spyware, i wouldn't install it, rather use the all-seeing eye...

How about using the All-Seeing-Eye? Oh, and I'd recommend getting Resistance. It's dead cheap nowadays and 1.46, well, sucks in comparison.

OFP really ought to support DNS resolution so you can connect to a host by name instead of IP address. All it takes is one call to gethostbyname...
